CHANGELOG
- Refinement and optimizations to PrecoGOV now at version 1.9.3 (More radical stuff coming in the upcoming version of ShinTo Kernel L10A01, so stay tuned!)
- Improved stability for PrecoGOV even more… hopefully the last of it now! 🙂

- Please take note that I still consider L09A04 as BETA (until proven otherwise) …ok?!
KNOWN ISSUES
- Synapse: mic volumes reset to -84 the first time you launch synapse but I have included code to reset it to 0. You only have to accept and it will reset to 0.
- Synapse: Fast charge; For values to stick across reboot, you HAVE to UNCHECK “FAILSAFE” at the bottom of the screen in “FAST CHARGE”.
- ShadowLED: Works without issues once you deselect led notifications from the ROM settings.
- VIPER4ANDROID: When you first start your phone, viper4android is off. To fix, you have to launch viper4android so it restarts it’s engine. That issue happens if you have eXpanD activated.
- N900T WIFI CALLING: Sorry guys, I haven’t had the time yet to look into it and see where the issue is. I hope to get it sorted out on time the release of L10A01.
SUPPORT
- Absolutely NO kind of support will be given here if you happen to have any issue while you are Overclocked or Undervolted.
- If you encounter an issue then you will have to reset to stock manufacturer sanctioned settings (300 Mhz to 2.230 Mhz & stock voltages), remove ANY/ALL scripts in /etc/init.d/and reproduce the issue with all debugging turned on (Go to Synapse “SYSTEM DEBUG”).
- Once you reproduce the issue with stock settings, ZIP the two “ShinTo” log files in the root of your sdcard (/sdcard/) and send us a link to download said .ZIP file with a detailed description of your issue, Note3 model, rom name & version along with what you were doing when the issue happened.
- IF YOU HAVE ISSUES BUT CAN’T PRODUCE A VALID LOGFILE, DON’T BOTHER REPORTING THEM AS I CAN’T GUESS WHAT YOUR PROBLEMS ARE.

I am not 100% sure but you could do a nandroid backup of everything just in case and try the N9005 version and see how it goes.
Thx for coming back with an LP version of this great kernel! One question: it seems that my battery is draining if I use my phone while charging. Is that normal?

Depends on what your phone is doing and what is the charge mA that you are getting.
If you’re plugged in your laptop you could be getting as little as 450 mA…
I’d suggest checking the cpu usage of background tasks as maybe you could have some app/task that is stuck.
Hey bro, got a quick (hopefully) question for ya…
You got built-in f2fs support (SWEEET!!!!), but I wonder if it could be enabled to external sd as well… I see where you enable it during boot, so just wondering if it’s just a matter of doing something along those lines as well?
I’d say it’s not as simple as that as sdcard is mounted as a virtual device and there are some things to look into and also some side effects…

Thank you for all of your genius that you have shared with us. This may be a stupid question, but after seeing all you have done for us over the last forever, I wanted see if you could help first. It’s simply because,out of everyone In The Know on the net I trust you the most. I have a SM-N9005 International Version, Kitkat 4.4.2, N905XXUGNG1, V40A06 Second Reality. I want to upgrade to the latest Lollipop and your latest kernel. Is this possible? If so, could you point me in the right direction for the Firmware and instructions for such a move? I just knew that if anyone knows, you would. I really appreciate your time and help. You are a programmer, among programmers. Out of respect and utmost appreciation, I have every relevant app you have produced for my setup and have gladly paid for them all. Keep up the good work.
